I stumbled upon this site while searching Google Images.
Thought I'd say hello to Ellis, who was my "Big Brother" back in the '70s.
I remember always looking forward the time he gave me, even if I didn't show it.
Even to this day, I cling to the photo of Ellis and me with Paul "Bear" Bryant, appearing on the "Bear Bryant Show". The "Iron Bowl" in '74 or '75, and the hot rod Chrysler he drove back then. Wasn't it the "Plum Crazy" Challenger?
You may not realize it Ellis, but you made a lasting impression on me. And yes, I was guilty of making the caulk mess that I never could admit to.
Wow! It seems strange, but I've spent most of my years occasionally wondering why I made that mess, and why I lied about. I feel much better now!
I hope that life has treated you well Ellis. Against all odds, I have pretty much done OK myself.
